2:17 2017 White Cane Day Parade

At NYISE, we celebrate it with a parade up and down Pelham Parkway and a mobility related scavenger hunt. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate and many walk proudly with their children. Prior to the parade, the student make posters and signs to carry during the parade. The children look forward to the event and enjoy being stars of the parade each year.
