Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday 2025 is today:

December 2, 2025

All funds raised for Giving Tuesday will be used to purchase holiday gifts for students in all programs.

Based on the success of this year's campaign, contributions can also be used to recognize student milestones and achievements through holiday and celebratory events during the year (ex: Braille Literacy Month, Valentine's Day, and Read-Across-America Month).

New this year, our Giving Tuesday Campaign will last all week until midnight on Friday, December 5,

giving individuals more time to share news of our campaign with an #unselfie on Instagram.

Also, to encourage intergenerational giving, consider making a donation as a family by starting a Giving Tuesday change jar at home using a recycled jelly jar.

Collect change this week and make a donation on Friday, December 5.

Books in our Library

Thanks to the generosity of donors to 2017 Giving Tuesday campaign, we increased our library's collection of braille books for students in our Schermerhorn program and blind and visually impaired children in our preschool program.

When exploring our library, a Giving Tuesday sticker indicates all books purchased with Giving Tuesday funds. Given the high cost of buying books in braille, we are incredibly grateful to the generous individuals who helped make this possible.
