Linda Kahn
Linda Kahn (September 15, 1948 - August 30, 2021)

Gifts made to the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund support our after school activities, including tutoring, recreational programming, and technology to help students engage with the world beyond our campus grounds. These activities are vital to helping students realize their potential and strengthen their independence in learning and life. Linda's family is notified of all gifts made in her memory. Should you wish to send a personal note to accompany your gift, contact Eba Taylor, Development Director, at [email protected].

In 2021, the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund was established in memory of Linda Kahn, who began her extraordinary career as a teacher. Linda's trail-blazing work in Children's Programming included senior executive positions at Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, and Scholastic Media. In addition, as Director of Programming Operations for Bridge Multimedia, she was instrumental in making educational children's TV programming and gaming accessible to blind/visually impaired and learning disabled students. The Institute was always a helpful beacon, supporting Linda's accessibility projects. Now, Linda's Fund will help support our students.
