Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund: Help student's thrive!

We are honored to establish the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund in memory of Linda Kahn.

Linda began her extraordinary career as a teacher. Her trail-blazing work in Children's Programming included senior executive positions at Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, and Scholastic Media. As Director of Programming Operations for Bridge Multimedia, she was instrumental in making educational children's TV programming and gaming accessible to blind/visually impaired and learning disabled students.

NYISE was always a helpful beacon, supporting Linda's accessibility projects. Now, Linda's fund will help support them.

All gifts to the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund will support our afterschool activities, including tutoring, recreational programming, and technology to help our students engage with the world beyond our campus grounds. These activities are vital to helping our students realize their potential and strengthen their independence in learning and life.

To learn more about Linda, watch her 2010 interview for New York Women in Film & Television's Archive Project that documents and preserves contributions by women to New York's film, television, and digital media industries: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0hHuBmCD0Y.

Thank you so much for your interest in carrying on Linda's legacy.
