Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund: Help Students Thrive!

Linda Kahn
Linda Kahn (September 15, 1948 - August 30, 2021)
History
In 2021, the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund was established in memory of Linda Kahn, who began her extraordinary career as a teacher. Linda's trail-blazing work in Children's Programming included senior executive positions at Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, and Scholastic Media.

In addition, as Director of Programming Operations for Bridge Multimedia, she was instrumental in making educational children's TV programming and gaming accessible to blind/visually impaired and learning disabled students.

The Institute was always a helpful beacon, supporting Linda's accessibility projects. Now, Linda's Fund will help support our students.

To learn more about Linda and her work, click here to watch her Archive Project interview with New York Women in Film & Television. Thank you so much for your interest in carrying on Linda's legacy.

All gifts made to the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund support our afterschool activities, including tutoring, recreational programming, and technology to help students engage with the world beyond our campus grounds. These activities are vital to helping students realize their potential and strengthen their independence in learning and life.
