Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund

Linda Kahn

Linda Kahn (September 15, 1948 - August 30, 2021)

In 2021, the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund was established in memory of Linda Kahn, who began her extraordinary career as a teacher. Linda's trail-blazing work in Children's Programming included senior executive positions at Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, and Scholastic Media. In addition, as Director of Programming Operations for Bridge Multimedia, she was instrumental in making educational children's TV programming and gaming accessible to blind/visually impaired and learning disabled students. The Institute was always a helpful beacon, supporting Linda's accessibility projects. Now, Linda's Fund will help support our students.

Gifts made to the Linda Kahn Afterschool Fund support our afterschool activities, including tutoring and recreational programming to help students engage with the world beyond our campus grounds. These activities are vital to helping students realize their potential and strengthen their independence in learning and life. Linda's family is notified of all gifts made in her memory.
