Summer School

Summer school is an opportunity for K-12 Schermerhorn and Residential students to continue learning and building their academic, social, ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and behavioral skills. 

Taking place over 5-weeks in July and early August, summer school is only available for students with Extended School Year in their Individual Education Plans. Activities are planned by our teachers and staff, and during 2024 are scheduled to include:

Workshops with Inside Broadway culminating with a theatrical performance for friends and family

Field trips to the Greenburgh Nature Center

A Golf Clinic with the The Metropolitan Golf Association

A Beep Baseball Clinic with the Long Island Bombers

Cycling with InTandem Youth

Rock Climbing at The Rock Club
