These students are studying geography using disected wooden maps that show rivers, terrain and land formations. Some of these maps pictured are still in use today.

Musical training carried on at the Institution was proved out by the successful examinations of pupils by the American College of Musician at the piano, organ and in all theoretic subjects.

JUNIOR GRADE – Reading, Spelling, Script Writing, Geography, with dissected Maps, Planisphere, Globe, Grammar, History, Composition.

SUB-SENIOR GRADE – Arithmetic, Grammar, History, Geography, Physiology with Apparatus, Rhetoric, Composition

SENIOR GRADE – Algebra, Geometry, Logic, Mental and Moral Philosophy, Science of Government, Rhetoric, Composition, Natural Philosophy.
