Turning 5: Transitioning to Kindergarten

Black and white rendering of the front of Frampton Hall.
The turning five process occurs when a child transitions from preschool special education services to kindergarten.

Every fall we conduct a Parent Workshop on the turning 5 process to help families as they transition to kindergarten. The intimate and supportive environment in Readiness provides them with information that will help them to better understand the information presented to them in the district meetings.

Our goal is to help our families develop advocacy skills which will help them to be proactive for their children as they enter the CSE /or regular school system.
