My choice for the month of January 2020 Shining Star is Shelley Homsy. Shelley is a very Kind, Caring, Loving, Supportive individual, that I am so glad we crossed paths.
I love to see her in action with her students. Definitely, one of the best teachers at NYISE. You Are the Best!!!

Naum Shulman
My Shining Star for the month of January is Mr. Naum Shulman. Mr. Naum, with his quiet demeanor and soft-spoken voice, can quiet and gather the attention of those in a room with the clap of his hands. Mr. Naum always gives encouragement and builds self-esteem in our students, allowing them to shine on stage.
Mr. Naum always has a piece of chocolate, tea, or remedy for any ailment his co-works may have. Mr. Naum, you always make those around you feel special in your presence. You are a shining star every day!!!!! Dawn George

I chose my colleague Linda Ciero, teacher, to receive the NYISE Shining Star award for January 2020 because she is a great role model for the students and employees alike. She is very polite and has strong work ethics, she recognizes your voice and responds kindly and is an inspiration for everyone.
