Investing in the Future

Our community expands off campus to include Alumni, donors, friends, and advocates who value special education for blind and visually impaired youth and preschoolers with developmental delays.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions to the Institute are 100% tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and help provide our students with access to a wide variety of tools and resources to support their learning in the classroom.

Current initiatives made possible by Donor Circle support include:
  • preparing students for college or employment through peer-to-peer Student-Alumni networks;
  • providing vocational and job training opportunities for high school students;
  • developing special projects to build student's independence and advancement;
  • improving access for all students to learn about new and emerging adaptive technologies;
  • offering free field trips and enrichment activities through in-school and after-school programming.
