Investing in the Future

Our community at the Institute expands off campus to include Alumni, donors, friends, and advocates who value special education for blind and visually impaired youth and preschoolers with developmental delays.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions to the Institute are 100% tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

All gifts help our students thrive and enrich the variety of tools available for teachers and staff to support learning in the classroom.

Current initiatives made possible by Donor Circle support include:

preparing students for college or employment through peer-to-peer Student-Alumni networks;
providing vocational and job training opportunities for high school students;
developing special projects to build student's independence and advancement;
improving access for all students to learn about new and emerging adaptive technologies;
offering free field trips and enrichment activities through in-school and after-school programming.

All Donor Circle members receive our Institute Newsletters, holiday cards, and limited edition postcards featuring students' artwork throughout the year.
