Vocational and Transition Services Homepage

Vocational and Transition Services include ongoing assessments to identify strengths and challenges facing students throughout their high school experience and supporting their life work transition post-graduation.

 

Vocational Services are provided in our PAES Lab and include lessons focused on:

 

  • effective communication, teamwork, and problem solving;
  • identifying and building soft skills to work in an office environment, and
  • food preparation, sales, and customer service skills in our on-campus Starlight Cafe Coffee Shop and adjoining ADL Kitchen Labs.
 
Transition Services focus on supporting students as they develop a roadmap for what they will do after graduation, and include learning best practices in navigating a job search, building a resume, and interviewing, as well as navigating the college admissions process.
