National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15)

The Institute joins organizations world wide in celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 with celebrations and reflections on the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans with ancestry from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
This year, celebratory activities at the Institute included a performance for students and staff by three teaching artists from Hispanic Culture Arts, a Bronx-based arts education organization that provides a curriculum focused on the classical music and dance of Spain and Latin America.
