Golf Course Industry features the NYISE Golf Course and how the project was started by Norman Kritz of the Mid-Atlantic Blind Golf Association

On June 23, 2021, our Schermerhorn & Van Cleve students in High School and 8th grade received diplomas at our in-person ceremony. Even though the attendance this year was limited, being able to have an in-person ceremony was truly amazing for the students. Congratulations to the Class of 2021!

The three students collectively read 47,082 pages.

What a wonderful celebration of AFB's 100th anniversary! Under the direction of our Music Director Naum Shulman, five students sang along to the tune "Wonderful World". Follow the link below to the celebration concert. {Note: show starts 10 minutes into the video, so advance as necessary.}

Co-chair Dr. Bernadette Kappen gave testimony at the Joint Legislative Public Hearing on 2021 Executive Budget Proposal: Topic Elementary and Secondary Education.

To prepare for school to re-open on campus in the fall, we have produced a plan on how to open safely. The plan will help students, staff and parents stay healthy and allow students to learn at school.

On Thursday, June 18th a number of VC staff got together and participated in a Drive-by Parade for the Van Cleve Graduates.
