Students perform at the Church of the Intercession

On Sunday, December 16, we helped celebrate Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” at the Church of the Intercession. This year the poem will be read by Assemblyman Alvin (Al) Taylor.

Musical performers in addition to our stellar students of Izabel, Wani, and Joel were The Uptown Brass, St. Paul’s Choir School and The Young People’s Chorus of Washington Heights. As usual, our students performed excellently and did us proud.

Clement Clarke Moore was a member of the NYISE's Board of Managers from 1840 until 1850.
