Learning about storms and weather

Today SCH 2&3 read, discussed and did two science experiments about storms. They took a paper bag and blew it up and popped it to make thunder. Then we saw how rain forms using jars with hot water and ice on a plate., which formed droplets on the side of the jar like rain. Finally, we reviewed the vocabulary of different storms and how to be safe in tornadoes, blizzards, hurricanes, and thunderstorms. What a great way to celebrate a stormy week!
