Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2006, to empower individuals with developmental and physical disabilities through music. On March 8th, they held their Danny Awards. Persons had to submit audition tapes and the winners were invited to Manhattan's Symphony Space for a concert of their performances.
Third-grader Iolanta was invited to perform, as was Schermerhorn graduate Kalah Dolman. They sang beautifully and the audience was moved by their emotional performances.
