2019 Wrestling and Cheerleading teams

At NYISE, we provide our students with a broad spectrum of sports both competitive and recreational. The Schermerhorn Program fields teams that compete in the Eastern Athletic Association for the Blind (EAAB) with tournaments in wrestling, goalball, cheerleading, track, swimming and bowling. Two basketball teams compete in a local Catholic school league.

Our Residential and Recreational departments bring wellness activities like tennis, rock climbing, archery, volleyball and hiking to our residents. This year, we will be introducing golf.
