Groups 9 and 10 visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of our study of ancient civilizations. We “traveled back in time” to ancient Egypt! We were able to touch and feel a sarcophagus, hieroglyphs, and ancient statues of gods and goddesses of the ancient Egyptians. It really brought our classroom learning about ancient Egypt alive! It was an incredibly enriching experience!
