NYI 6th grade summer students are participating in Level Up Village Global Inventors. Level Up Village is a global learning program that focuses on solving world problems creatively with collaboration from a student partner that lives in a different country. Our student partners come from Dr. Pillai Global Academy in New Panvel, India.
NYI students are busy learning Level Up Village concepts, The Engineering Design Process, the engineering program Tinkercad, and 3-D printing skills necessary to creatively solve energy problems. Twice a week interns from Level Up Village join NYI staff in teaching students about India, energy, engineering and problem solving. NYI educator sponsors are Mr. Nora, Ms. Angela and Mrs. St. John.
