Schermerhorn 2 has had a busy year. These first graders spend time in our coffeeshop working on prepping the place by cleaning tables, doing laundry and refilling the dispensers. <br><br>Back in the classroom they've been learning about science. They are raising butterflies and lady bugs. Some of lady bugs are already hatching and they are feeding them raisins. The caterpillars arrived in chrysalis and the ladybugs in pupa stage.<br><br>Photographs by Edie Goldman
