On Thursday, Schermerhorn Groups 6 & 7 went on a field trip to the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum. There they learned about the original Bronx natives, the Lenape. Students learned about shelter, clothing, food, language and customs of the Lenape people. There was a wigwam set up outside for the students to explore.
