On Sunday, April 17th, I participated in the Helen Keller National Center's 5K Run/Walk 2016. This event was held to benefit people who have a vision disability and/or hearing loss. It took place at Sands Point, Long Island. Thanks to the generous support of my family,
teachers and friends, I was able to raise over $700. I had such a nice time being there and seeing everyone else enjoying it as well.

The Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults (HKNC) is the only comprehensive national program that provides vocational and rehabilitation services exclusively to youths and adults who are deaf-blind.
