Camp Wanaqua is the only free day camp in the New York metropolitan area for blind and visually impaired children.<br> <br>Provided each summer during the month of July, Camp Wanaqua is a day camp for kids ages seven to thirteen and provides a chance for kids to unplug, engage with each other, and have fun.<br> <br>Approximately twenty-five campers join us each summer to participate in a wide range of educational, athletic and therapeutic activities that result in new skills, confidence, friendships, and memories.
