Our NYISE residential students are offered a variety of leisure opportunities throughout the school year. Rock climbing is one of those opportunities and to provide this experience, we visit the ROCK CLUB (www.pinebrookfitness.com/the-rock-club/) in New Rochelle.<br><br>One of our own, Ms. Carina Cam, is a certified belayer and climbing instructor. The role of the belayer is essential to safety and success. Ms. Carinau2019s skill, knowledge, and experience enhances this opportunity for our students as she talks them through the entire process. She helps them with their gear, introduces them to her belaying equipment, and guides them up the walls with reassurance. <br><br>They begin to encourage each other and challenge themselves to improve with each climb.
