This year the Van Cleve Black History Month Celebration takes the form of a march. Our march takes place February 26, 2009 at 10:00am. The Van Cleve staff and students are advocating the use of non-violent protest. We have studied different aspects of the civil rights movement and have decided to pay homage to those who paved the way for equality. <br>In preparation for our march, we have viewed movies such as <br>The Childrenu2019s March and Mighty Times. These movies have helped us in understanding the importance of tolerance. They have also helped us in preparing our stations.
