The Underground Railroad was a series of trails and places that escaped slaves used in their quest to freedom.u00A0 Last year, Ms. Norau2019s and Ms. Camilleu2019s students along with Mrs. Shelton, made sample quilts as part of our Black History month project.u00A0 These small samples represent the many different quilts which were used to give directions to the slaves escaping to freedom. The Log Cabin quilt hanging on a fence meant that the slaves could safely hide in that house for awhile.u00A0
