All the graduates of the Van Cleve program are also in Mr. L's Spanish classes. Last week the two Spanish classes went on a walking field trip to a Spanish restaurant. The staff there were very impressed by the way each of the students greeted them in Spanish. The students were also able to use Spanish they had learned to be polite and ask for things like sodas and water. They learned about many different Spanish foods that were on display and they were able to choose whatever they wanted. Most of all, they enjoyed the huge feast!<br><br>We were also able to wear our new Van Cleve sweatshirts that Mrs. McElroy arranged to purchase.
