The students were grateful that the company took such an interest in making their products more user friendly to persons with special needs. It was a productive project for all involved.

Students with visual impairments and blindness spent three days with researchers from Google working on a research study to analyze how Google can make their products more accessible.

Our students are well versed in using Google products. Each has had a personal Google Drive and Gmail address for several years.  They also use one of their apps called Google Classroom. Google Classroom combines Google Drive for assignment creation and distribution, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for writing, Gmail for communication, and Google Calendar for scheduling.
