The students and staff are busy again this year collecting can donations and other foods for donation to Part of the Solution (POTS) a community food pantry in the Bronx near the school. This year’s goal is 2000 items and they have already made a big dent into the count.
In this photoblog are photos of the students busy collecting and organizing the early donation. We will be delivering our donations at the end of the month. There is a competition for a choice lunch between the class group over who has the most donations.
Our support of POTS and their commitment to the community is one that we whole heartily support. POTS is a ‘one-stop shop’ assisting individuals living in poverty on their journeys from crisis to stability and ultimately, self-sufficiency. POTS is dedicated to providing a professional and hospitable environment where every interaction is based on compassion and respect.
