As our swim team heads out for the first tournament of the 2016-17 sports season, NYI held a pep rally to support all our teams. We have teams competing in cheerleading, basketball, bowling, wrestling, track and field and goalball.
The theme for the event was "Each Star has a Superhero Inside". Student were encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero. They had a great time showing off their costumes.

The event ended with a series of challenges for the staff and students. The challenges included two coaches competing in a cup stacking contest and some of the younger students playing "Catch the Joker".
