These first graders spent weeks preparing for this day. Back in the classroom they have been learning about science. They raised butterflies and lady bugs. Some of lady bugs are already hatching and they are feeding them raisins. The caterpillars arrived in chrysalis and the ladybugs in pupa stage.

The children were excited to release their bugs in our rose garden.
