Garden Fund

Thank you for your interest in supporting NYISE.
We believe every contribution matters and every contributor matters.
NYISE's Garden Fund supports the purchase of seeds, garden tools, plants and more for our Garden Program.

The mission of NYISE’s Garden Program is to strengthen our student's understanding of their natural environment and its impact on their communities and society at large through hands-on learning in our garden and greenhouse.

Our goals for the garden over the next three years (2018-2020) are to provide hands-on activities for our students to grow, harvest, and eat their own plants and herbs; explore native and non-native flora, and give students plants to take home.

An integral part of our science curriculum, our garden and greenhouse are used throughout the academic year by our middle and high school students to study plant life-cycles, learn about the origins of their food and the importance of eating a well-balanced diet with fresh fruits and vegetables.

We are in the process of activating our Garden Fund, so check back soon to learn more about our plans for the 2018/2019 academic year and make a donation.
