The Winter Season is a busy time for the students of NYISE. The Schermerhorn Student Council each year assists the younger students with Holiday projects. Organized by Council Advisor Chelsea Baez and President Orlando Williams the event is one the council looks forward to working with the little guys and gals to create a holiday craft. Kelsey give out candy canes. After finishing their projects, students from Group 2 gave each of the big kids a cookie and chocolate coins in appreciation.<br><br>Group 6 is preparing for winter too.They started off by making our very own snow! Their play, The Gingerbread Man, that they performed for the for the second grade was well received.
