Summer school can be a lot of fun and educational at the same time. Here we have two trips by our students to learn about our community helpers and the history of aviation. A small group of elementary students took a walk to our local firehouse and learned more about how firemen serve and protect our community.

In the second set, a group of high schoolers traveled to the Cradle of Aviation Museum and Education Center. The Center is over 150,000 square feet with 75 air and spacecraft exhibits including a Lunar Module. There were over 30 hands-on exhibits including cockpits to explore. They had a great time and enjoyed building their own solar powered vehicles.

Photographers: Emily Mather and Jessica Hurley
