Annie McMahon came to speak to our middle and high school students. She is a 20 year old that suffers from a chronic, life threatening disease Cystic Fibrosis. Annie received a double lung transplant this past fall, saving her life. She spoke with the students about her journey throughout life with this disease, overcoming obstacles, what her life is like post-transplant, and other topics. <br><br>Hundreds of people have taken the u201CPolar Plungeu201D in the Rockaways in February to raise money for her cause.
