VC 8 is reading the novel, Tangerine by Edward Bloor. While reading the book in class, a "typewriter" was mentioned. The children asked what that was! Some of the students knew what a typewriter was but had never seen one. The following day, Mrs. McElroy had a "show 'n tell" session in class! Ms. Carragher's class was invited to join VC 8.
