Alumni: Young Alumni Association
Class of 2022
We hope you join us in celebrating our Senior Class of 2022.
This year's graduation ceremony was held in our gymnasium on June 22, from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. In addition to our graduates, students' families and friends, teachers, and our staff joined members of the Institute's Board of Directors for the ceremony. Keynote speakers included New York State Senator Jamaal T. Bailey and New York State Assembly Member Nathalia Fernandez.
Over 90% of students who graduate from our Schermerhorn program pursue a two- or four-year degree. In addition to transition services provided at the Institute, blind and visually impaired youth throughout New York State can access various scholarships and transition services.
