Life is good!

My Name is Robert P. and I am a Sophomore student at the New York Institute for Special Ed. I'm also a residential student at my school. I am 16, and I was born on January 6, 1981. I live in the southern part of the Bronx. I am 6 foot 1, and Puerto-Rican.

I'm very athletic. I have been on the wrestling team, the cheer-leading squad, and the goal-ball team. For those who don't know what "Goal-ball" is, it is a sport for blind and visually impaired players that consists of two teams with three players and as many as 6 subs. The concept of this game is to roll the ball past the other team and into their goal. What the defense does is slide on their sides and try to block the ball. Well enough about that. I live in a family of 6 including myself, so I have to be athletic to keep up with that!

My typical weekend is hanging out with my uncles and cousin. My uncle are cool because they are fraternal twins and they are 18, so they think a lot like me. My cousin is pretty cool too, because he's an auxiliary cop.

On the weekend, I also spend hours, literally hours, on the phone with my girlfriend, Cindy. She's great! We've been together for over a year. She's also on the cheer-leading team and the goal-ball team as well. She wants to join the wrestling team for some strange reason. Anyway, I rarely go to any parties, but if I'm invited, I'll go only if my uncle goes.

I personally think that I'm an OK kid. All my friends, teachers, and teachers assistants think I'm OK. My hobbies are Playing video-games, science (I know. I like to find out how things work), and computers. So as you can see, I'm a regular 16 year old kid even thought I'm visually impaired(Even though my mom thinks that any kid that stays up til 4 o'clock in the morning isn't normal).
