Schermerhorn students experience instructive, hands on experiences
learning about Ancient Egypt's papyrus and hieroglyphics as well as
the Middle East.  They learned about the Five Pillars of Faith which
is are five duties incumbent on every Muslim. The girls examined and
wore an abaya. The abaya is an overgarment worn by some women in Muslim-majority countries.
