On the evening of April 8, 2008, our own Chelsea was inducted into the St. La Salle Honor Society. Chelsea is a senior in the Schermerhorn Program and she plans to attend Manhattan College in the Fall.

Some of Chelsea’s family, friends and teachers attended an elegant ceremony held in the Chapel on the campus of Manhattan College.

Dr. Weldon Jackson, Provost of the College welcomed all to this very special occasion and Mr. William J. Bisset, Jr., Vice President for Enrollment, presented the Honorees with a medal and certificate. A buffet of hot and cold appetizers was available for the Honorees and their guests in a reception room below the Chapel.

Chelsea’s mother, Mrs. Carol Switzer, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Althea, family friends, Cathy, Carmine (Class ’07 and Manhattan College Freshman) and teachers Ms. Donna Karlson, Ms. Maria Zulli, Ms. Kim Ross and Ms. Tina Perretti were all thrilled to share this special night.
