Lesson: Then and Now

NYISE has a long history in the field of education and the education of the blind. The school’s archive has many photographs some over a hundred years old.

Objective: Go to that page and locate the link named Image Essay: School life in the 1890's.  Look at the various images there that show what was happening there 115 years ago. Your task is to select one image and in MS Word write a detailed description of photograph. Look for details and tell about what you see.

 

Write at least one complete paragraph.

 

Next you should write another paragraph describing what you think you are doing in school now instead.
