Jauny Braillewriter

Jauny Braillewriter. The Jauny writer was made for the American Foundation for the Overseas Blind. Its wide carriage permitted the use of 14" paper. The knob on the left controls only the storage of paper, winding it around a 3/4" solid steel rod. The knob on the right controls the advance of the paper for individual line spacing, and functioned independently of the paper storage knob.
