December, 2017: Trip to Apple Store Grand Central
This picture is of the Orientation and Mobility trip to the APPLE Store Grand Central for a workshop on using GPS with VoiceOver. The students had a chance to also use an APPLE watch. It was synced to the iPhone and vibrated when when it was time to make a right or left turn. It was a great trip!
Not only did the students have a great time but one Apple instructor emailed this about the trip: "Yesterday was one of the most impactful days of my life. My team was blown away by how incredible your students were, and how much they were able to help us improve our programming and our products. We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to go on this journey with you. We hope it’s the first of many great experiences we can develop together.
