The visit by the Liberty Science Center’s Traveling Science Program was a memorable one for all the students and staff. The “Science Circus” was extremely entertaining and educational. They provided the teachers with a pre-visit activity guide so that the children would be better prepared to understand the concepts and activities of the Science Circus.
The children learned about the various states of matter, air pressure and temperature effects. They learned about electrons, protons and neutrons. They explored the positives and negatives of static electricity, the sub-zero temperatures of liquid nitrogen, the states of matter, and the immense pressure of air. The show included over a dozen chilling and thrilling experiments and plenty of volunteers.
