Annie McMahon came to speak to our middle and high school students. She is a 20 year old that suffers from a chronic, life threatening disease Cystic Fibrosis. Annie received a double lung transplant this past fall, saving her life. She spoke with the students about her journey throughout life with this disease, overcoming obstacles, what her life is like post-transplant, and other topics.

Hundreds of people have taken the “Polar Plunge” in the Rockaways in February to raise money for her cause. She is an incredible inspiration to us all. Thank you for sharing your story with our students.
