The residential students from Van Cleve and Schermerhorn programs had an opportunity to learn the do's and don'ts of making a pizza by Chef Carl Giardina. Chef Carl who has been in the pizza business for over 20 years is the owner and creator of "Make A Pizza Parties". u00A0<br><br>His experience in the pizza industry, and as owner of Bachagaloop's Restaurant in Wayne, NJ, has allowed him to develop a creative learning experience to get children in the kitchen and turning them into helpers, and hopefully, aspiring chefs. <br><br>The popularity of these parties led Chef Carl and Bachagaloop's to appearances on local television shows, such as Good Day New York (WNYW - Ch. 5) and coverage in many newspapers and magazines.
